Lightspeed Spanish

Join Gordon and Cynthia on a wonderful journey through Spanish learning. They have produced hundreds of short video lessons that will take you from absolute beginner through to intermediate. Their teaching method is one of the best we've seen and they come up with lots of little tips on Spanish use including when to use ser and estar and an easy method to help you decide when to use the preterite and imperfect.

Along with the lessons, there's Gordon's Diary where he will just talk about something for around ten minutes and also interviews with their friends and family about different topics. There is so much really helpful content on their channel we can't recommend it enough. Their lessons are grouped into levels so it's easy to find content that suits your ability.

Butterfly Spanish

We absolutely adore Ana on Butterfly Spanish, she is one of the most enthusiastic teachers we've come across and some of the things she comes out with are hilarious. A small word of warning, though, Ana is from South America so some of the words she uses might not be familiar to you but that shouldn't put you off.

Ana's videos are very clearly titled and it's easy to dip into any one of them. She covers a wide range of topics that aren't necessarily covered by other YouTubers. For example, she has some great videos on the different words for 'here' and 'there' in Spanish and also the difference between the words 'tomar' and 'beber'.
